SWYFT + ITKAN Ri3D
An FTC robot built with SWYFT Robotics parts — every subsystem listed below so your team can use it as a starting point this season.
NOTICE: This robot design is provided solely as a design reference and is not intended to be fully copied, built, or used in competition.
The build
SWYFT partnered with ITKAN robotics to create an FTC robot using SWYFT Robotics parts. This robot has a custom-fabricated drivetrain, an intake, a slide-driven elevator, a servo-powered sorter, and a direct-drive shooter. Every part is listed below so your team can use it as a starting point for your own robot this season.
Subsystems
Drivetrain
Built on the SWYFT Drive V2 110mm Kit with a custom frame instead of a frame kit. The chassis uses 3mm SWYFT Composite (100% SRPP) sheet and SWYFT Channel (424mm aluminum) for a stiff, lightweight base.
Intake
Seven 4.5in SWYFT Intake Wheels on 7075 aluminum 7mm hex axles, powered by two SWYFT Spike Motors (5.2:1) through SWYFT 90 Degree Hex Gearboxes. The spikes on the middle wheels were trimmed so they flex and grip game pieces more consistently.
Elevator
SWYFT Slides V2 (250mm) driven by continuous rotation SWYFT Speed Servos.
Sorter
4× Titan Servo Modules for fast, repeatable sorting.
Shooter
Two SWYFT Spike Motors converted to direct 1:1 drive. We removed the gearbox internals to save weight and length, and made custom 3D printed pinion adapters.
