130W 55.1" x 35.4" CO2 Laser Cutter
CO2 Laser Cutter: The Ultimate Build Season Advantage
Tired of outsourcing parts and waiting for deliveries during build season?
Take full control with this 130W CO2 Laser Cutter. Designed for serious FRC and FTC teams, it transforms how you prototype, fabricate, and customize robots.
This machine empowers your team to:
- Rapid Prototyping — Quickly iterate on designs and test concepts before committing to final production. Cut custom gussets, brackets, intake plates, climber components, and more in minutes instead of days.
- Cost Savings — Cut your own parts from SWYFT Composite (SRPP), delrin, acrylic, wood, polycarbonate, and other common robotics materials. Dramatically reduce outsourcing fees and shipping delays.
- Precision Cutting & Engraving — Effortlessly cut SWYFT Composite (SRPP) and other non-metallic materials with pinpoint accuracy (±0.01 mm). Create custom robot parts, intricate mechanisms, professional sponsor panels, and team-branded designs that make your robot stand out in the pits.
- Large-Format Capability — Massive 55.1" × 35.4" (1400 × 900 mm) work area handles full-size FRC side plates, large sponsor graphics, or batch production of dozens of small parts in one job. Front and rear pass-through doors let you process extra-long materials (elevator stages, bumper supports, etc.) that exceed the bed size.
- Customization & Branding — Personalize robots with unique cutouts, engravings, and team logos. Perfect for standout aesthetics and pit presence.
- STEM Learning — Engage students in real CAD-to-part workflows, precision fabrication, and advanced manufacturing — an outstanding addition to any team shop or makerspace.
- Easy to Use — Intuitive Ruida control panel + full LightBurn compatibility (also works with RDWorks, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Illustrator). Design in Onshape/Fusion 360, export DXF, and cut — often faster and simpler than 3D printing for flat parts.
- Safety First — Comprehensive features including automatic cover-interlock shutoff, E-Stop button, water-flow protection for the laser tube, flame-retardant viewing window, and more — built with student teams and mentors in mind.
It’s more than a tool — it’s your team’s competitive edge.
Why This Laser Cutter for FRC & FTC Teams?
- Optimized for SWYFT Composite (SRPP): Excels at cutting our lightweight, high-strength SWYFT Composite sheets (including the 6 mm structural foam-core version specifically designed for laser cutting). Expect clean edges with minimal delamination when using proper settings.
- Student-Friendly Workflow: One-touch autofocus, red-dot pointer for quick alignment, and large sepia-tinted viewing window let teams set up and monitor jobs fast during hectic build season.
- High-Capacity & Versatile: The largest bed in our lineup is ideal for big FRC mechanisms or high-volume part cutting. Double-platform system (honeycomb + aluminum blade) handles everything from delicate small parts to rigid large sheets.
- Reliable & Robust: 130 W sealed CO₂ laser tube, reinforced machine body, separate power supply/motherboard to minimize interference, and built-in air assist + exhaust system for clean, efficient cuts.
Key Features
Ruida Control Panel Advanced, intuitive controller with color display. Compatible with LightBurn and other third-party software. Ethernet + USB connectivity.
Fast Autofocus Pre-installed autofocus system — correct focus directly from the control panel with the push of a button. No more tedious manual adjustments.
Double Engraving Platform
- Honeycomb platform: excellent stability, heat resistance, and noise reduction for smaller or intricate parts.
- Aluminum blade platform: rigid, height-adjustable support for larger or heavier materials.
High-Performance 130 W CO₂ Laser Tube Sealed tube (1650 mm length) delivers stable power for faster cutting and extended service life. Wavelength: 10.6 µm.
Red Dot Guidance + Laser Warning Lights Red dot pointer shows exact engraving/cutting location and path. Red light = machine working (safety attention); green light = ready.
Advanced Safety Systems
- Automatic laser shutoff when cover is opened
- Water-cut protection (prevents tube damage if cooling fails)
- E-Stop button
- Flame-retardant viewing window
- Built-in air assist and exhaust for cleaner, safer operation
Front & Rear Pass-Through Doors Process materials longer than the bed by sliding stock through the machine — ideal for long robot components.
Improved & Thickened Body Reinforced housing for safe transport and long-term durability in a busy team environment.
