Your configuration
This configuration: the full-size work area (790 × 580 mm of cutter travel) driven by a 2200W HF water-cooled spindle, with the 4th-axis rotary included for machining and engraving cylindrical parts.
- Work area: 790 × 580 mm of cutter travel, 85 mm Z-axis stroke (stock up to 120 mm thick)
- Spindle: 2200W HF water-cooled, 3,000–24,000 rpm, ER16 collet
- 4th axis: Included — 60 mm center height, up to 110 mm turning diameter
The 8060Z is a desktop CNC router built for the demands of competition-robot fabrication — milling, drilling, contouring, and routing across aluminum plate, Delrin, polycarbonate, PCB, hardwood, and SWYFT Composite. It ships nearly turnkey: connect it over USB to a Windows PC running Mach3, fill the spindle's coolant loop, and start cutting.
- Rigid frame — 6061-T5 extruded-aluminum construction on C7 ball screws (X/Z 1605, Y 2005) running on chrome-plated shafts and linear bearings, 25 mm on X and 16 mm on Z.
- Water-cooled spindle — a quiet HF water-cooled spindle spinning 3,000–24,000 rpm, in 1500 W or 2200 W depending on variant, with an ER16 collet (3.175 mm and 6 mm).
- Two work areas — a compact 575 × 375 mm or the full-size 790 × 580 mm of cutter travel.
- Optional 4th axis — add a rotary axis for engraving and machining cylindrical parts, up to 110 mm turning diameter at 60 mm center height.
- Ready to run — USB control and limit switches are built into the machine, and automatic tool-length checking works off the probe in the box; every machine ships with a control box, tool package, four clamps, that probe, a water pump and cabling.

Rout the parts you'd otherwise send out
Mill aluminum plate, Delrin, and polycarbonate to tight tolerances — structural brackets, drivetrain parts, and custom fixtures — without outsourcing or long lead times.

Rigid, repeatable, precise
A water-cooled spindle on a solid frame holds accuracy through real cutting loads, so parts come out to spec run after run.

Set up for schools and teams
Ships directly from the factory, runs on Mach3, and we welcome purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing for schools and registered teams.

Route what your robot is made of
A router earns its keep on the parts you'd otherwise send out. This one handles the stock competition robots are built from:
- Aluminum plate
- Delrin / acetal
- Polycarbonate
- SWYFT Composite
- Hardwood
